TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Starbucks Taiwan, a joint venture between Starbucks Coffee International and Taiwan food conglomerate Uni-President, announced on Tuesday (Oct. 31) that it will commence marketing activities to boost Christmas sales starting Thursday.
Despite rising costs in raw materials, Starbucks Taiwan maintains a long-term marketing strategy focused on expanding its locations and improving the quality of existing stores; raising prices won't be part of the strategy.
The Christmas period usually expects a rise in sales revenue by 10 to 20 percent compared to other seasons. Thus, there will be a boost in stock levels by 10 percent this year.
Starbucks Taiwan oversees a drive for double-digit sales growth due to its promising performance since the start of the year. In light of rapid changes across various commercial zones, the company aims to take relocation measures when needed, emphasizing the cultivation of in-store ambiance to make Starbucks a distinctive feature of its local community.
