TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an reviewed the Taipei Dome's trial match, held two days prior, during a special report to the City Council on Monday (Nov. 20). "I do not rate myself, but there is certainly room for improvement. Let the citizens decide," Chiang remarked.

City Council members, including Councilors Chen Yi-chun (DPP) and Hung Wan-jen (DPP), attended the meeting, highlighting various issues observed during the event.

Councilor Chen pointed out the lack of surveillance cameras in the B1 and B2 underground parking lots, raising security concerns. He also noted water stains in the lobby and water accumulation underground. Post-event, he observed disorganization among pedestrians and YouBike users.

Councilor Hung raised issues about the Dome's restrooms, including water supply problems and continuously running sinks. Additionally, spectators voiced concerns about the absence of vending machines and inadequate bilingual signage within the facility.

In response, Mayor Chiang pledged to instruct the Farglory Group, the Dome's contractors, to resolve these issues and implement necessary improvements.

These observations came in the wake of a trial match aimed at assessing the infrastructure and amenities of the long-anticipated multi-purpose stadium.
