TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Hsiao Bi-khim debuted her new YouTube show "Bi-khim Cat Warrior Meow Meow Meow" (Bi-khim戰貓喵喵喵) on Tuesday night (Nov. 28).

The vice presidential candidate of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) shared anecdotes about President Tsai Ing-wen's cat, "Think Think," and discusses Hsiao's experiences with her pets and the concept of "cat warrior" diplomacy.

In the first episode, Hsiao also reminisced about how Tsai has cared for her cats. She shared a story about finding a mud-covered stray kitten while on a disaster area inspection in Hualien, which she later offered to Tsai during a phone call. Tsai accepted, and the kitten became known as Think Think.

Hsiao also introduced her four cats: "Princess," the eldest black cat; "Ah-hua," a tabby featured on her badge; "Tiger," a Taiwanese tiger-striped cat; and "Fluffy," a 10-kilogram cat. She mentioned her longing for them, as they are currently awaiting their return to Taiwan from the U.S.

The "cat warrior" diplomacy concept emerged when Hsiao was asked about confronting China's "wolf warrior" diplomacy. Her reply, "Then I am a cat warrior," reflects her belief that cats' attributes — balance, agility, and resilience — mirror her approach to international diplomacy.

Hsiao recently returned to Washington D.C. to fulfill her role as Taiwan's representative to the U.S. Following her duties there, she returned to Taiwan from New York to join the active vice-presidential campaign.
