TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) legislator Mark Ho campaigned for DPP Legislator candidate Rosalia Wu on Wednesday (Dec. 27). When asked whether he would assist his party's primary winner, Wang Shih-chien, Ho simply stated, "I am working hard where I need to."

With 17 days until the 2024 legislator elections, DPP legislator candidates are gearing up for the final sprint. Wu and Ho hit the campaign trail on Chengde Rd. in the morning. This marks the first time Ho campaigned on behalf of Wu.

Ho praised Wu's deep connections within the local community and her Taiwan-oriented approach to all issues. He highlighted Wu's favorable position in the election due to her high-quality and diligent efforts.

In addition to campaigning for Wu, Ho is aiding candidates across Taiwan, with trips planned to Matsu, Taitung, Taichung, and Nantou.

Wu believes that candidates should be proactive. Hence, during a legislative budget vote, she took the initiative to secure a spot on Ho's busy campaign schedule, stating, "I actively seize opportunities. You need to be fast when seizing them."

Wang Shih-chien narrowly defeated Ho, capturing 41.97% of the vote compared to Ho's 39.7% on April 20. Consequently, Wang will represent the DPP for Taipei City Constituency II, interrupting Ho's re-election bid. At the time, Ho stressed his loyalty to the party, vowing to support Wang, a demonstration of selfless support over personal ambition.
