TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Q Burger is set to promote an end-of-year bonus for its staff of up to 27.8 months, with a significant increase in salary for all employees in 2024 by as much as 23.4%.

The company has announced a comprehensive wage increase across the board, starting in 2024, striving to escape from the traditional low-paying environment of the restaurant industry.

Newly hired store personnel can expect a high basic salary of up to NT$35,000, with reserve executives starting at a substantial NT$37,000.

In response to various living standards across Taiwan, the wage increase also includes a substantial regional subsidy. Store employees in Taipei can receive an extra NT$4,000 per month, while the starting pay for reserve executives in the city begins at NT$40,000, surpassing industry standards.

In a bid to incentivize employees, Q Burger has launched the "Dream Reward Plan," a profit-sharing scheme. Upholding its founding spirit of "young people taking care of young people," the company initiated the "Dream Reward Plan" in 2022, which grants 20% of the store's net profits to the store chiefs, symbolizing Q Burger's commitment to taking care of its young staff.

Q Burger continues to excel in its operational performance, not being affected by the larger economic environment. In 2023, the company's expansion continued in cities across Taiwan, totaling 340 stores and surpassing a milestone of over one million app members.
