TAIPEI (TVBS News) — President Tsai Ing-wen on Tuesday (Jan. 2) praised public servants as fundamental to national progression and societal stability during a meeting with representatives of the nation's outstanding civil employees from 2023.

Accompanied by Premier Chen Chien-jen and Examination Yuan President Huang Jong-tsun, Tsai acknowledged the awardees at the Presidential Office for their exemplary efforts and notable achievements within their respective agencies.

 

In her remarks, President Tsai extended her congratulations to the awardees, expressing shared delight in their achievements from the selection of model public officials across the nation. Tsai praised the honorees for their active efforts to inspire change and facilitate the implementation of government policies.

President Tsai emphasized the significance of public servants, recognizing their contributions not only to providing enhanced public services but also to the overall development of the nation. She expressed her deepest gratitude to the awardees for their steadfast commitment, which serves as a model of excellence for all public officials to emulate.
