TAIPEI (TVBS News) — South Korean actress and singer Kang Hye-won, familiarly known as Hyewon, held two fan meet-and-greet events at Clapper Studio in Taipei on Sunday (Feb. 18), where she serenaded fans with a selection of songs.

Best known as a member of IZ*ONE, Hyewon currently both acts and sings. She's also renowned for her love of food, sampling treats prepared by fans as well as crafting a cake on site. Nevertheless, her humorous admission, "That's why I didn't open a shop, instead becoming an actress," drew laughter after her excessive ingredient use overwhelmed the dessert.

On her first personal visit to Taiwan, Hyewon made sure to taste local delicacies including radish cake, roast duck, sweet red bean soup, and taro vermicelli. Moreover, she shared her experience of queuing for 20 minutes at a night market to buy much sought-after sweet potato balls, a recent hit among South Korean tourists.

At her fan meetings, Hyewon performed several popular K-pop songs, including "Mr. Chu," "Ice Cream Cake," "What is Love," "Drama," "Underwater," and "Super Shy," among others. She also learned to say "I love you," "I am prettiest," and "I am cutest," in Taiwanese dialect.

The meeting ended with Hyewon singing her song, "Winter Poem," although specific details of her departure from Taiwan remain undivulged.
