TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Legislative Yuan voted on the Executive Yuan's request to reconsider the recently passed controversial legislative reform bills on Friday (June 21). Supporters of both the Bluebird Movement (青鳥行動) and the Blue Eagle Movement (藍鷹行動) gathered outside, separated by a single street. The Bluebird Movement calls for rejecting democratic regression, while the Blue Eagle Movement strongly supports legislative reform.

More than 50 civic groups have gathered around the Legislative Yuan since Wednesday, advocating against the alleged "congressional abuse" of power and warning the Kuomintang (KMT). They reject democratic regression. These groups continue to host citizen forums around the Legislative Yuan, with three press conferences planned. They monitor different bills and oppose the KMT's proposal to raise the threshold for recalling people's rights.

The KMT caucus has borrowed rights to Linsen S Road and Qingdao E Road for the Blue Eagle Movement. They are rallying supporters to the streets to support the KMT's call for "truth and anti-corruption." Several KMT representatives are expected to take turns speaking. The Blue Eagle Movement's rally, which started at 8 a.m. and is expected to run until noon, has attracted a sizable crowd. Supporters have taken the stage to speak and wave flags, and several tour buses are parked nearby, indicating a larger crowd is expected closer to noon.
