TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The head of the Chinese National Federation of Industries (CNFI, 中華民國全國工業總會) assured businesses on Monday (Nov. 11) that Taiwan's relationship with the U.S. will remain stable, and water and electricity shortages will not be a concern, because the government will solve the problem.

During the CNFI 78th Industrial Festival, Chairman Pan Chun-jung (潘俊榮) highlighted Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim's (蕭美琴) strong ties with the U.S. during her tenure as Taiwan's representative, stating that a Trump presidency would not impact Taiwan.

Moreover, Pan remarked that Economic Minister J. W. Kuo (郭智輝) assured businesses of an adequate water and electricity supply, promising a stable future for enterprises. Pan emphasized that President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) and other government officials will serve as a "backbone" for businesses, ensuring their growth.

He praised Kuo's proposal to build a power plant in the Philippines to bring green energy back to Taiwan and stated that it represents the minister's willingness to find solutions. He urged collaboration between businesses and the government for economic transformation.
