TAIPEI (TVBS News)— The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology is reshaping the workplace, sparking concerns about potential job displacement. Experts suggest employees adopt AI to increase effectiveness at work.

Working at a fast-paced PR firm, Anna Wei (魏知儀), an assistant manager, sees AI as a collaborator. She explained that she uses AI tools for market analysis, consumer insights, and creative content, allowing her to save time on repetitive tasks and focus on more critical areas, such as strategy development.

Joseph Tang (鄧耀中), founder of a public relations agency, believes that AI has not yet matured enough to replicate human intelligence. He noted that creativity remains challenging to replace, while asserting that jobs involving empathy and human connection would retain their value.

Workplace competition continues to evolve with the emergence of AI models like DeepSeek. Eric Huang (黃逸平), vice general manager at Digitimes, pointed out that DeepSeek's low-cost model made AI more accessible. He emphasized that AI-literate workers will gain competitiveness, widening the skills gap in workplace.

As AI becomes more pervasive, individuals and businesses must adapt to maintain relevance and drive innovation rather than fearing AI replacement.
