TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Yunlin County (雲林縣) magistrate Chang Li-shan (張麗善) announced on Monday (March. 3) that eight local businesses will team up with the Yunlin Shian Farmers' Association (雲林縣農會) to highlight their competitive edge in Tokyo Foodex Japan 2025.
The "Yunlin County Government's Agriculture office" (雲林縣政府農業處) held a pre-departure press conference where the eight businesses displayed products such as coffee gift sets, "Golden Horse 60 peanut gift boxes," pineapples, Tainung 81 rice, and ready-to-eat products.
Chang emphasized that the county government has consistently secured substantial orders over the years and will continue to explore business opportunities this year.
Agriculture Office Director Wei Sheng-te (魏勝德) highlighted the expo's significance, stating it ranks among the top three food expos, drawing 40 to 50 countries and thousands of businesses annually.
Yunlin County aims to assist more high-quality local agricultural products in entering the Japanese market, thereby enhancing the county's international reputation.
