TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Continuing its annual tradition of promoting Franco-Taiwanese technological cooperation, Business France announced on Wednesday (May 7) it will once again host the French Pavilion at InnoVEX, the startup-focused segment of COMPUTEX Taipei. The 2025 exhibition, running from May 20 to 23 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Halls 1 and 2, will showcase five innovative French companies among nearly 1,400 global tech firms and 450 startups from Taiwan and international markets.

Among the standout exhibitors, Dracula Technologies will showcase its award-winning LAYER technology, an innovative organic photovoltaic solution that harvests and stores energy for low-power electronic devices. The system, specifically engineered for indoor Internet of Things applications, earned international recognition with a CES Innovation Award in 2021. Meanwhile, AMI (Advanced Magnetic Interaction) will demonstrate its suite of electronics-free solutions, including the Digital Dry-Erase Whiteboard and Interactive Desk Mat, both powered by the company's proprietary magnetic field detection technology.

Visitors to the French Pavilion will experience LESON by Music Unit's groundbreaking DeepStereo technology, which converts conventional mono or stereo audio signals into fully immersive three-dimensional soundscapes. The system works seamlessly with various audio output devices including headsets, speakers, and soundbars, while requiring minimal setup complexity. In the energy storage sector, ITEN will exhibit its cutting-edge solid-state microbatteries, fabricated with advanced nanomaterials to deliver exceptional power output and energy density for applications ranging from IoT hardware to smart labeling systems.

The pavilion will also feature Nanomade's breakthrough sensor technology, comprising ultra-thin, highly flexible sensors capable of detecting minute variations in touch, force, and deformation with remarkable precision. These sensors significantly enhance interactive capabilities across consumer electronics and automotive interfaces. Complementing these hardware innovations, software giant Dassault Systèmes, participating as a French Pavilion partner, will demonstrate its comprehensive 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which currently empowers 370,000 companies worldwide to collaborate effectively and develop sustainable innovations across multiple industry sectors.

Tech enthusiasts can witness live demonstrations from these French innovators during a dedicated France Pavilion session at the Global Demo Day on May 21. The 30-minute showcase, scheduled from 15:30 to 16:00 at the Pi Stage in InnoVEX, will spotlight France's technological capabilities through product presentations. These companies receive substantial support from the French Tech Mission, an initiative under the Directorate-General for Enterprise that nurtures France's tech ecosystem through 16 international Capitals and 99 Communities, offering specialized programs including French Tech Next40/120 and French Tech 2030.

The pavilion organizer, Business France, operates as a public consulting entity dedicated to promoting export growth for French companies while attracting foreign investment to France. The organization's impact is substantial — in 2023 alone, it facilitated €3.3 billion (approximately US$3.6 billion) in additional export revenues for French small and medium-sized enterprises. Business France's influence extends to foreign investment as well, with the organization supporting 66% of all foreign investment decisions in France during 2024, highlighting its crucial role in the nation's economic development strategy.

With COMPUTEX Taipei just weeks away, the French Pavilion stands as a testament to France's expanding technological footprint in Asia's vibrant tech ecosystem. Industry observers note that this concentrated display of French innovation at Taiwan's premier tech gathering signals deepening Franco-Taiwanese technological cooperation. Attendees will gain firsthand exposure to cutting-edge European innovations in renewable energy, sensors, audio processing, and digital simulation — technologies poised to shape future industry standards and cross-border technological partnerships. ★
