TAIPEI (TVBS News) — South Korean cheerleader Lee Dahye (李多慧), who has become a cultural phenomenon in Taiwan's professional baseball scene, confronted persistent rumors about her alleged demands for spotlight positioning during a charitable appearance Tuesday (May 8) in Taipei. The public event provided Lee an opportunity to address swirling controversies regarding her performance placement preferences, where she countered the narrative by claiming she frequently asks to be repositioned away from center stage when directors place her there.

The public appearance follows recent speculation that another South Korean performer, Lee Jueun (李珠珢), who cheers for the Fubon Guardians (富邦悍將), one of Taiwan's major professional baseball teams, had abruptly canceled a scheduled pre-game appearance due to positioning disputes with Winni (溫妮), a popular personality from the Taiwanese variety show "Muyao4 Super Playing" (木曜4超玩). Representatives from the Guardians organization have categorically rejected these reports as unfounded.

Since relocating to Taiwan two years ago, Lee has demonstrated remarkable proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, now regularly engaging with media without interpretation assistance. The cheerleader recently attracted considerable social media attention after posting a dance video featuring her mother, which generated numerous compliments about her parent's youthful appearance. Lee noted with amusement that her mother was taken aback by the public response. The performer also revealed she had placed a midnight phone call to her mother in observance of South Korea's Parents' Day traditions. ★
