The storm's impact caused significant damage across Tainan, with signs, fences, and scaffolding destroyed. At 11 p.m., the Taiwan Power Company (台電公司) reported a power outage affecting 30,077 households. As the storm intensified, a construction site in Yongkang District (永康區) saw the collapse of a guardroom and portable toilets due to strong winds. Police responded by setting up barricades and implementing traffic control.
