TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Delta Electronics Inc. (台達電) announced on Friday (July 25) that the company launched the Delta Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center (台達電智能製造創新中心) in response to the global trend of decentralized manufacturing and centralized management. The facility, which is located in Chungli Plant 6, spans approximately 150 ping and offers comprehensive industrial automation services, including real-machine verification and educational training.
In collaboration with NVIDIA, Delta Electronics established an integrated learning center. This partnership will introduce training courses on the NVIDIA Omniverse digital twins platform. Delta Electronics President and COO Simon Chang emphasized that the innovation center marks a significant milestone in advancing industrial automation technology and strategic collaborations.
Delta Electronics aims to leverage its extensive manufacturing experience to help partners in the electronics and semiconductor industries develop high-performance machinery and production line planning solutions. This initiative seeks to accelerate product time-to-market and enhance the speed of global manufacturing expansion.
Delta Electronics General Manager of Industrial Automation BG, Andy Liu (劉佳容), highlighted the center's role in creating a realistic production line environment with real-machine equipment. This setup allows for the verification of new technologies' performance and product applicability, fostering an intelligent future through educational training and industry collaboration.
