TAIPEI (TVBS News) — A-Mei (張惠妹) will headline Taitung's 2026 New Year's Eve celebration, marking her first hometown performance in five years. The Taitung County Government announced the star-studded lineup on Wednesday (Nov. 5), scheduling the event for Dec. 31.
The celebrated singer's return promises a grand performance on her local stage. Fellow Taitung native A-Lin joins A-Mei, creating a "Double A" combination that fans eagerly anticipate. Taitung County Magistrate Yao Ching-ling (饒慶鈴) expressed excitement, noting the two singers have never performed together before.
The magistrate expects that the collaboration will deliver a spectacular performance. The lineup includes Nine One One (玖壹壹), Princess Ai (戴愛玲), Chih Siou (持修), Miss Ko (葛仲珊), Kasiwa (葛西瓦), and "Mavis Fan & 100%" (范曉萱&100%). Additional performers feature DJ Didilong (李英宏), Sangpuy (桑布伊), and A-Mei's sister Saya (張惠春).
