TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taipei City announced on Friday (Nov. 14) a second wave of performers for the city's New Year's Party 2026 near Taipei 101. According to a press release, the lineup includes celebrated artists WeiBird (韋禮安), Amazing Show (美秀集團), Tanya Chua (蔡健雅), and Lee Chien-na (李千娜), promising a night of memorable performances to ring in the new year.
WeiBird, taking the Taipei stage for the fifth time, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, that the New Year celebrations are very iconic, and that he is always happy to perform on that stage. Known for his heartfelt lyrics and warm voice, he continues to captivate music lovers. Tanya Chua, who reserved her New Year's Eve exclusively for the Taipei concert, noted that she always feels a sense of familiarity when singing at the city's New Year's concert and looks forward to collaborating with WeiBird for a cross-genre performance.
Lee Chien-na will make her debut on the Taipei New Year's stage, showcasing her dual talents as an actress and musician. She plans to transform classic songs into a medley, with arrangements by Owen Wang (王希文). Meanwhile, Amazing Show will celebrate its 10th anniversary by delivering an electrifying performance under the dazzling Taipei 101 New Year's spectacle.
The city had previously announced that the New Year's Eve concert with feature popular artists such as Bii (畢書盡), Genblue (幻藍小熊), OSN (高爾宣), Aden Wang (王ADEN), and U:NUS. The addition of this second wave of stars adds even more excitement to the event.
