TAIPEI (TVBS News) — K-pop sensation TWICE arrived at Kaohsiung International Airport (高雄小港機場) Friday (Nov. 21), triggering chaos as over 300 fans swarmed Taiwan's southern port city. Only seven of nine members appeared at 2:30 p.m., with Chaeyoung (彩瑛) absent due to illness and Tzuyu (子瑜) traveling separately from Tokyo.
Momo led the group through the arrival chaos, adapting to Kaohsiung's warm weather by removing her heavy coat. Jihyo (志效) captivated crowds in leopard print attire while Sana and other members engaged with fans. Dahyun (多賢) continuously greeted supporters as the incomplete group navigated through the airport frenzy.
Fans awaited Tzuyu's (子瑜) separate arrival expected after 3:30 p.m. to complete the group. Ok Taec Yeon (玉澤演) captured TVBS News footage, posting in traditional Chinese characters, "Welcome to Taiwan" (歡迎來到臺灣), which fans interpreted as a host's greeting.
