TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Mayday frontman Ashin (五月天阿信) fell from a 2-meter-high stage during a Shanghai concert Monday (Dec. 22), injuring his hand while performing "Jump! The World" (離開地球表面). The incident occurred during the F✦FOREVER City of Stars (F✦FOREVER 恆星之城) concert tour. Fans immediately urged the record company to seek medical attention for the injured singer.
Three members of the Taiwanese boy band F4 rushed to assist Ashin and temporarily halted the performance. Jerry Yan (言承旭), Vic Chou (周渝民), and VanNess Wu (吳建豪) helped the injured Mayday frontman back to his feet. Ashin quickly returned to the stage and joked he became "the first man in history to collect kisses from all of F3" after requesting kisses from the trio.
Ashin reassured fans on social media, stating, "My brain is intact, and your era is also fine." He shared a video showing VanNess Wu expressing concern about the fall and praised the F4 member as "warm and handsome." Ashin explained that Ken Chu (朱孝天) could not join the performance, so he participated to support F3 and complete the lineup.
Ashin reported that hospital tests showed everything was normal following the fall from the Shanghai stage. He responded with a smile to concerned fans using a memorable line from VanNess Wu's popular drama "Autumn's Concerto" (下一站，幸福): "Guangxi can't donate, but can't we follow?"
