TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Tickets for an additional concert date by South Korean pop rock band DAY6 went on sale on Friday (Jan. 16) at 11 a.m. The extra concert date for their New Taipei City tour stop, slated for March 8., follows the overwhelming demand shown for their March 7 show in which pre-sale tickets had sold out instantly. Their new tour, "The DECADE," celebrates the group's 10th anniversary.
DAY6 aims to captivate fans at the National Taiwan Sport University Arena (林口體育館) in New Taipei City's Linkou District (林口區) on March 7 with an upgraded arena-level performance, a step up from their successful show last year in Kaohsiung. The tour promises an electrifying experience, featuring members Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon delivering their signature live performances. The Taipei concert marks a crucial leg of their Asia tour, continuing the high-energy show they put on at last year's concert at Goyang Stadium in South Korea.
To ensure fairness, fans can purchase a maximum of two tickets per transaction, with a total limit of two tickets per account, according to Tixcraft. Each ticket incurs an additional NT$200 system service fee. The event implemented a "real-name" ticketing system that supported mobile device purchases, although pre-sale members were not guaranteed better seating than general sales.
Fans who missed out on the initial pre-sale should focus on securing tickets during the general sales period on Friday (Jan. 16); tickets for the newly added March 8 show will also become available simultaneously. This additional date offers fans another chance to experience DAY6's live performance, underscoring the band's enduring popularity and the strong demand for their shows.
