TAIPEI (TVBS News) — K-pop group EXO will perform at the Kaohsiung Arena (高雄巨蛋) on Friday (July 18) as part of their EXO PLANET #6 — EXhOrizon world tour, Live Nation Taiwan confirmed Tuesday (Feb. 3). The South Korean-Chinese boy band's Taiwan concert marks one of 13 Asian stops on the tour, which kicks off in Seoul in April. The Kaohsiung Arena, a major indoor venue in southern Taiwan, will host the group's long-awaited return to the island.

The EXhOrizon tour will traverse 13 cities across Asia, including Ho Chi Minh City, Nagoya, Bangkok, Macau, Osaka, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Tokyo, and Singapore. Fans in Taiwan can expect a mix of new hits from EXO's latest album, "Reverxe," and classic songs from the group's catalog. The Taiwan concert marks the group's long-awaited reunion on stage for local fans who have followed the band since their 2012 debut.

Live Nation Taiwan will announce ticket sales details, including the start date, platform, and purchasing specifics, at a later time according to the concert promoter. The organizer has historically partnered with the Tixcraft ticketing system, Taiwan's major online ticket platform, for similar events in the country. This partnership suggests a likely collaboration for the EXO concert, though official confirmation on ticketing arrangements remains pending from the organizer.

Members of Live Nation Taiwan may receive priority access to tickets for the Kaohsiung concert. The organizer recommends fans register on their official website to secure this advantage before ticket sales begin. EXO's Taiwan stop represents a significant event for the island's K-pop fan community, with further announcements on ticketing details expected in the coming weeks. ◼
