TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Morgan Stanley identified four Taiwan-listed companies as potential beneficiaries of continued AI demand, citing strong growth prospects for the semiconductor sector following Computex 2026, according to media reports Thursday (June 4). The investment bank described artificial intelligence as a long-term growth cycle rather than a short-term trend.
The firms highlighted were Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (台積電), ASE Technology Holding (日月光投控), King Yuan Electronics (京元電子) and MPI Corporation (宏致電子), according to the reports. Morgan Stanley said these companies are positioned to benefit from continued demand across the AI supply chain.
The assessment reflects broader investor optimism about AI infrastructure spending following Computex, Asia's largest technology trade show. Morgan Stanley said concerns over a slowdown in AI spending have eased following discussions with industry participants during the exhibition. The investment bank believes AI development remains in its early growth stage and is expected to continue benefiting semiconductor-related companies.
Nvidia (輝達) indicated that demand for AI-related computing infrastructure is expected to remain strong through 2027, according to the reports. The investment bank said Nvidia has secured key production capacity and continues to see robust demand for AI computing resources.
Computex 2026 (台北國際電腦展) runs through Friday (June 5) in Taipei. Details of Morgan Stanley's full research report were not immediately available. ◼
