TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Ex-NBA Star Jeremy Lin, affectionately known as the "Harvard Kid," hasn't confirmed whether he will continue his professional basketball career as a player next season.

During his participation at the China Airlines Charity Basketball Camp on Wednesday (July 5), Lin announced that he had received numerous team offers but has yet to finalize the details with his management team, leaving his future team undecided.

Lin's addition to the P. League+ Kaohsiung Steelers midway through last season sparked a remarkable resurgence for the team, propelling them from the bottom of the standings to a potential playoff contender. His exceptional performance in breaking league assist records further demonstrated his skills on the court, intensifying the anticipation surrounding his next move.

Speaking as a coach at the basketball training camp today, Lin expressed his eagerness to return to the basketball world after taking some time off to recharge. He stated that he maintains an open mindset, considering the ideas presented by various teams and attending meetings to explore all available options.

As for his future destination, whether he will stay in Taiwan or join the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) remains to be determined. Lin emphasized his desire to play meaningful basketball and stated, "I will delve deeper into the considerations." While he expressed interest in playing alongside his brother, Lin Shu-wei, he emphasized the importance of timing and clarified that he would not force the situation. With no set deadline, he teased, "Unexpected developments might occur."

The Kaohsiung Steelers have already announced that Chiu Ta-tsung will assume the head coach role for the upcoming season. Lin expressed his support for the team's decision, praising the basketball insight of the new head coach and showing respect for the former coach, Cheng Chih-lung.
