NEW TAIPEI (TVBS News) — An explosion at the Hsiang Feng military base in Taiwan injured nine soldiers, with two sustaining severe wounds.
Concerns were raised about the availability of medical supplies, specifically tourniquets. Allegations were made that lower-ranking personnel were instructed not to use tourniquets, but the Army Logistics Command denied this.

Soldier medical training is essential; all units have emergency medical technicians and universal tourniquets. The command will continue to enhance emergency medical capabilities and training for battlefield injury care.
