HSINCHU (TVBS News) — Taiwan's armed forces held a military experience event at Hsinchu Hukou military base on Sunday (Sept. 24) with over 110,000 participants. However, attendees experienced prolonged waiting times, with some waiting up to 3 hours for shuttle buses.

The Sixth Army Corps coordinated the event with nine shuttle stations and deployed 220 tour buses for public use. However, at the Hukou Train Station shuttle point, some public members waited from 7 in the morning until after 10 to enter the base, causing widespread dissatisfaction.

Controversy arose when two shuttles arrived simultaneously at the Hukou Train Station shuttle point. Although police suggested that the public board both buses simultaneously, the military insisted they wait until one bus was full before boarding the other, leading to a heated argument.

The Xinhu Precinct responded to the incident, stating that despite the minor disagreement, the issue was swiftly resolved thanks to cooperation between the military and police. They also mentioned the military's timely gratitude for the police's assistance.
