＂Let’s Duck＂ brand closure at 2 locations in Taipei

TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Wowprime Corp. announced on Thursday (Feb. 29) that, following a careful evaluation, it will cease the operations of its "Let's Duck" restaurants in Beixing and Nanshijiao metro station.

The company emphasized that this adjustment is executed under its multifaceted, multi-brand strategy, and reassured that the rights and benefits of employees would not be affected.

Primarily offering take-out options, Wowprime Corp. launched the "Let's Duck" brand in 2021, adapting to changes in consumer patterns due to COVID-19.

However, with the easing of the pandemic, consumers' dining patterns have been returning to on-premises eating, thereby posing challenges to the operations of the "Let's Duck" brand.

Wowprime Corp. stressed that upon the closure of the two "Let's Duck" branches, its staff members would continue to service under other brands within the group.

It also asserted that their benefits, seniority, and rights will remain unaffected by the change in their work environment.
