LAS VEGAS (TVBS News) — The Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world's largest consumer electronics event, kicked off in Las Vegas on Tuesday (Jan. 7), drawing more than 4,000 exhibitors and 130,000 attendees. Running through Friday, the show highlights groundbreaking technologies from around the globe that have captured global attention.

Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI, 工研院) made waves with its AI Badminton Trainer (AI羽球教練), attracting significant interest. The machine automates shuttlecock serving and collects data for analysis. High-speed camera sensors capture users' posture and movements, relaying this information to a cloud platform for detailed evaluation.

The AI Badminton Trainer provides real-time feedback on stroke speed, height, and stability, using generative AI to assess skills and tailor training plans. ITRI has partnered with sports facilities in Hsinchu to offer this advanced training service, aiming to enhance athletic experiences.

Also, a New York-based company introduced the first emoji BALLOON, a customizable balloon machine, designed for large shopping malls. This innovation has piqued the interest of numerous buyers, who see its potential to boost business opportunities in the retail sector.

As CES progresses, attendees eagerly explore these innovative offerings. With AI and customization at the forefront, the showcased technology could revolutionize consumer experiences on a global scale.
