LAS VEGAS (TVBS News) — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (黃仁勳) announced on Tuesday (Jan. 7) his plans to return to Taiwan before the Lunar New Year for a company event and to address the Taipei office's location issues.
Huang made this announcement during his keynote speech at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show (CES). He expressed satisfaction with Nvidia's ongoing collaboration with MediaTek (聯發科), particularly in the development of the GB10 super chip and autonomous driving technology.
While addressing concerns regarding the Taipei office's location, Huang acknowledged the inadequacy of the current space and the pressing need for a better solution. He dismissed rumors linking the office to the First Funeral Parlor (台北市第一殯儀館) and welcomed suggestions for improved locations.
Huang plans to share more updates at the Taipei COMPUTEX and expressed his eagerness to explore local night markets upon his return. He also shared a personal note about his lifelong affection for a local fruit vendor: "The fruit lady there is very nice; she works very hard, and I'd like to go and give her more business."
