TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Organizers for the World Baseball Classic (WBC) Qualifiers announced on Sunday (Feb. 23) plans to release an additional 25,000 tickets at noon on Monday (Feb. 24), each priced at NT$500, for the game between Taiwan and Spain, scheduled for Tuesday at Taipei's Dome.
The match will determine the final entrant for the World Baseball Classic.
Taiwan's mixed performance in previous games, including a 5-12 loss to Spain, a 9-1 victory over South Africa, and a 0-6 defeat by Nicaragua, has heightened the stakes for the upcoming showdown. Nicaragua has already secured its spot in next year's tournament with an undefeated record.
Meanwhile, fans attending the game on Tuesday can expect to receive one of four exclusive gifts: a WBCQ-themed pinwheel, a team jersey towel, a player fan, or a sticker set. These items will be distributed randomly and are available while supplies last. Organizers encourage fans to check the Tixcraft Ticketing System for detailed purchasing information.
