TAIPEI (TVBS News) — New Taipei City launched a comprehensive manufacturing showcase series Wednesday (Oct. 1) featuring exhibitions, tours, and lectures through early November. The "Made in New Taipei City: Opening the Urban City Factory" (2025新北製造：打開城市工廠) initiative highlights the city's diverse industrial landscape through multiple educational programs organized by the New Taipei City Design Center (新北市設計中心).
The program features dual exhibitions, six educational tours, three lectures, and one guided tour for comprehensive manufacturing exploration. A static exhibition runs Wednesday through Nov. 2 at Circular Line Zhongyuan Station, showcasing New Taipei's industrial history and future. All tour slots have been fully booked, reflecting overwhelming public interest in the city's manufacturing sector.
The "Circular Line Train Mobile Exhibition" (環狀線列車移動展) transforms printing industry stories into dynamic displays for passenger immersion. Educational tours guide participants through Zhonghe, Shulin, and Sanxia districts, featuring 15 printing and paper factories. Participating companies include Tung Wen Tech Printing (統文科技印刷), Yung Hsin Paper Products (泳鑫紙品), and Car Turn Printing Co., Ltd. (卡騰印刷).
Organizers scheduled expert lectures on Oct. 8, Oct. 15, and Oct. 22 covering industry trends and innovations. Topics include "New Perspectives on Corrugated Boxes" (瓦楞紙箱新視界), "Towards a Sustainable Future: Innovation and Practice in the Paper Industry" (邁向永續未來：紙業的創新與實踐), and "Pantone Color Management and Printing Strategies" (色彩管理與印刷攻略).
