TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Students from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (台灣科技大學) unveiled Monday (Oct. 27) a blockchain-powered prenuptial agreement platform. The innovative "Chain Love Guaranteed" (鏈愛有保障) system provides couples with transparent, legally binding property agreements using smart contract technology.
The platform integrates blockchain technology through a user-friendly graphical interface, allowing couples to create agreements without technical expertise. Wang Yu-ching (王鈺晴), leader of the "Baby It's Okay" (寶寶沒關係) development team, stated that current prenuptial agreements rely heavily on paper-based and traditional judicial systems. A digital solution can enhance execution efficiency and trustworthiness.
The "Baby It's Okay" team, formed in March 2025, comprises students from various disciplines including Wang Yu-ching and Yang Chun-an (楊鈞安) from the computer science and information engineering department. The platform ensures contract effectiveness through blockchain's decentralized and immutable characteristics. It features a "community jury arbitration mechanism" for dispute resolution.
Yang Chun-an, the team's chief technology officer, explained that contracts require signing a legally binding "arbitration consent clause" and uploading to a distributed file system. This process guarantees contract content immutability. Currently in development and market testing stages, "Chain Love Guaranteed" targets young newlyweds with high digital literacy who prioritize prenuptial property rights protection. ◼
