TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Ministry of Education (教育部) announced Monday (Oct. 27) the release of electronic admissions brochures for students with disabilities. The ministry made the document available for download for the 115th academic year entrance exams. The brochure provides critical information for prospective college and university students with special needs.
The entrance exams are scheduled from March 20 to 23, 2026, requiring candidates with special needs to apply during registration. Applicants must submit relevant documentation if they need assistive devices, extended time, or smaller test venues. Online registration and payment runs from Nov. 25 to Dec. 8, ensuring accessibility for all candidates.
The introduction of a new SMS notification service marks a significant improvement for the 2026 academic year. Candidates must provide mobile numbers and opt in during registration to receive exam results via text on announcement day. This service aims to enhance convenience and ensure timely communication with examinees.
The physical version of the admissions brochure will be available from Nov. 6 to Dec. 9, 2025. Candidates can purchase it through various channels, including in-person, mail, or group orders. This provides flexibility in obtaining the necessary materials for exam preparation. ◼
