TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Berliner Philharmoniker (柏林愛樂管弦樂團) will perform three concerts Nov. 11-13 at Taipei's National Concert Hall (台北國家音樂廳) under chief conductor Kirill Petrenko. The world-renowned German orchestra celebrates its 20th anniversary of Taiwan visits with a free outdoor broadcast Nov. 13, marking a significant cultural milestone. Concert programs feature classical works by Janáček, Bartók, Stravinsky, Schumann, Wagner and Brahms across the three evening performances.

The orchestra will stream all three performances globally through its Digital Concert Hall via satellite technology for the fifth time since implementing this innovative broadcast system. Millions of international classical music fans can watch the concerts simultaneously with Taipei audiences, continuing a digital tradition that began following the orchestra's successful first Taiwan visit in 2005 which attracted thousands to outdoor broadcasts.

Renowned director Michael Beyer, known in the industry as a "super director," leads a specialized four-member production team flying directly to Taipei to ensure optimal broadcast quality for the performances. This dedicated deployment demonstrates the Berliner Philharmoniker's unwavering commitment to technical excellence and innovation, further strengthening its established two-decade artistic relationship with Taiwan's classical music audiences. ◼
