TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The 62nd Golden Horse Awards (金馬獎) ceremony will be held at the Taipei Music Center (TMC, 臺北流行音樂中心) on November 22. The Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival (金馬影展) announced on Tuesday (Nov. 4) that Yin Chen-hao (殷振豪) will take the role of the creative director. There will be an array of captivating performances, with the event notably proceeding without a traditional host.
This year's program will feature performances by artists such as MJ116 (頑童MJ116), Siri Lee (李竺芯), Shi Shi (孫盛希), and Ng Ki-pin (黃奇斌), who will guide the audience through the ceremony. Gingle Wang (王淨) will lend her voice to read the list of nominees, enhancing the auditory experience of the event.
Meanwhile, Penny Tai (戴佩妮) will perform the theme song from "Mother Bhumi" (地母), marking her first Golden Horse nomination for a movie theme. Adding to the musical showcase, Accusefive (告五人) will deliver "True Colors-Lovers" (我天生－有病版) from "Lovesick" (有病才會喜歡你), infusing the ceremony with youthful rock energy.
Joanne Tang (湯毓綺), known as 9m88, will bring her sultry voice to the stage, performing the theme from "A Foggy Tale" (大濛), capturing the era's melancholy and passion. For the first time since the 57th edition, the Golden Horse Awards will forego a host, opting instead for a narrative divided into 'Present', 'Past,' and 'Future' segments, interspersed with performances, films, and award presentations.
