TAIPEI (TVBS News) — HTC Corporation's (宏達電) VIVE Arts announced Monday (Nov. 17) a collaboration with Paris Music Museum to launch an immersive XR experience featuring pianist Yuja Wang. The exhibition combines live piano performances, virtual reality, mixed reality, and spatial audio for unprecedented sensory experiences.
Director Pierre-Alain Giraud, who won Best Immersive Work at 2024 Cannes Film Festival, leads the project. VIVE Arts and Atlas V co-produced the exhibition with Britain's Lightroom venue participating. The exhibition runs at Paris Music Museum from Nov. 14, 2025, to May 3, 2026, then moves to Shanghai and London.
VIVE Arts previously partnered with Château de Versailles for the immersive VR experience "Versailles: Lost Gardens of the Sun King." The experience uses HTC VIVE LBE technology to transport audiences to the 17th century French royal court. VIVE Arts Director Yeh Hsin-yu (葉心宇) stated the company commits to using immersive technology for cultural experiences. ◼
