TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Tigerair Taiwan (台灣虎航) announced on Thursday (Jan. 22) the launch of its fifth wave of summer 2026 flight sales, focusing on routes departing from central and southern Taiwan. The airline offers one-way, untaxed fares starting at NT$1,399 and aims to attract travelers with competitive pricing to popular destinations.

The promotional campaign features sought-after destinations such as Kumamoto (熊本), Okinawa (沖繩), Ishigaki (石垣島), and Jeju Island (濟州島). Tigerair Taiwan began sales at 10 a.m. on Thursday and will continue until 11:59 p.m. on Friday (Jan. 23). Travelers can book flights for trips scheduled between March 29 and Oct. 24, 2026.

 

From Taichung and Kaohsiung, travelers can fly to Jeju Island with fares starting at NT$1,399. Tainan offers flights to Okinawa and Kumamoto, priced at NT$1,599 and NT$1,799, respectively. Kaohsiung travelers can also enjoy flights to Kumamoto for NT$1,799 and to Okinawa for NT$1,599, with additional flights on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

From Taipei, flights to Ishigaki begin at NT$1,599, with increased frequency on Tuesdays and Fridays starting June 2. Tigerair Taiwan advises travelers to plan their trips in advance and reminds them that all prices are one-way and untaxed. The final sale routes and detailed flight schedules will be available on the airline's official website.
