TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Japanese actor Tomohisa Yamashita (山下智久) confirmed Monday (May 4) that he will perform in Kaohsiung on Nov. 14 as part of his 2026 "DREAMING" tour. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the Kaohsiung Music Center's Hi-Ing Music Hall (高雄流行音樂中心海音館). Yamashita first made the announcement during a surprise visit to Taiwan on April 24 for a Dior event.
Yamashita said the tour theme is "Dreaming is beautiful" and invited fans to "return to age 14" and reconnect with their purest emotions. He wrote, "Still dreaming like I'm 14," on Instagram and encouraged fans to dream and keep a pure heart. The actor said he intends to personally design and present future projects.
Yamashita, who recently celebrated his 41st birthday, shared his secrets to maintaining his youthful appearance, saying, "exercise well, eat well, sleep well." Many fans, who have followed him since elementary school, now have children of their own. He expressed his birthday wish to spend unforgettable moments with fans in 2026, regardless of the location.
Yamashita reflected on his 15-year journey, sharing that he has grown from trying to please fans to confidently enjoying his concerts. He thanked his Taiwanese fans for their support, calling it his "strength and driving force." Yamashita said he plans to take on more challenges in the future.
