TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Andy Lau (劉德華), the 62-year-old singer, will return to Taipei Arena for the first time in 11 years with his "Today…is the Day" tour from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3.
Lau's tour will start in Shanghai (上海) on July 5 and continue through several major Chinese cities, including Guangzhou (廣州), Beijing (北京), Nanjing (南京), Hangzhou (杭州), Shenzhen (深圳), Chengdu (成都), and Chongqing (重慶).
Lau's concert series in Taipei (台北) will set a new record at Taipei Arena with four consecutive shows starting on Oct. 31.
His music career has seen various iconic hits, such as "If You Are My Legend" (如果妳是我的傳說) and "The Dream That I'm Dreaming of" (我和我追逐的夢) from the early 90s, and million-selling albums like "Forget Love Potion" (忘情水) and "Destiny" (天意) from the mid-90s.
Lau expressed his passion for live performances, stating, "It is the only circumstance where I can express thankfulness in person toward all of the audiences."
