TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC, 台積電) on Friday (Nov. 8) reported a record-breaking consolidated revenue of NT$314.24 billion for October, setting a new company milestone. The figures represented a 24.8% increase from the previous month and a 29.2% year-over-year growth, marking the first time TSMC's monthly revenue surpassed NT$300 billion.
The company's cumulative revenue from January to October reached NT$2.34 trillion, reflecting a 31.5% increase compared to the same period last year. This surge in revenue dethroned TSMC's previous monthly record of NT$256.953 billion set in July, with September and August following closely behind. Meanwhile, TSMC's stock closed up NT$25 at NT$1,090, a 2.35% rise, pushing its market capitalization back to NT$28.27 trillion.
