TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Inventec Corp. (英業達) convened its 114th shareholders meeting on Wednesday (May 28) at Taipei's historic Grand Hotel (圓山大飯店), where Chairman Sam Yeh (葉力誠) and General President Jack Tsai (蔡枝安) presented a robust outlook for the company's operations. Executives highlighted exceptional growth in the server division, emphasizing the firm's strategic pivot toward energy-efficient data center solutions that include innovative immersion cooling technologies and expanded artificial intelligence capabilities.

Inventec leadership unveiled ambitious plans to increase investment in AI server technology, projecting substantial revenue expansion in this segment for 2025. According to the company's 2024 financial report, Inventec achieved consolidated operating revenue exceeding NT$646.2 billion (approximately US$21.6 billion), representing a 25.55% year-over-year increase, while consolidated operating profit surpassed NT$11.8 billion (about US$394.6 million), reflecting impressive 58.33% growth. Chairman Yeh commemorated the company's half-century milestone by highlighting Inventec's commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles and strategic diversification efforts to strengthen market position.

The Taiwanese technology manufacturer reported consolidated pre-tax net profit exceeding NT$9.2 billion (approximately US$307.7 million), marking a 27.30% increase, while net profit attributable to shareholders surpassed NT$7.2 billion (about US$240.8 million), up 18.54% from the previous year. Company officials attributed future growth projections to robust demand for their B-series server products, noting that GB200 cabinet shipments are already underway, with the advanced B300 architecture scheduled for market release by late third quarter or early fourth quarter of 2025.

Beyond servers, Inventec's personal computing division maintains its focus on sustainability through research into environmentally responsible materials while simultaneously advancing artificial intelligence and simulation capabilities to enhance device performance. The company has also strengthened its position in the automotive sector through strategic partnerships with leading Tier-1 suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), securing industry certifications and developing specialized manufacturing facilities dedicated exclusively to automotive components. ◼
