TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The 2025 Taiwan Creative Content Fest (TCCF) opened Tuesday (Nov. 4) at Taipei's Nangang Exhibition Center, attracting global content industry leaders. The event targets international collaboration and innovation in creative content, showcasing Taiwan's growing sector influence.

Minister of Culture Li Yuan (李遠), Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA, 文策院) Chairperson Sue Wong (王時思), and CEO Erica Wang (王敏惠) attended the opening ceremony with Chilean Trade Office Director Fernando Mariano Schmidt. The festival attracted global film, television, broadcasting, and tech industry leaders for international exchanges.

 

National Center of Cinematography President Gaëtan Bruel and Film Development Council of the Philippines Chairperson Jose Javier Reyes attended, demonstrating international scope. Minister Li Yuan noted Taiwan's technological recognition and expressed hopes for cultural content advancing "across domains, technology, and borders."

Sue Wong highlighted TCCF's platform role for global industry collaboration amid rapid transformation. This year's proposal session received over 700 submissions from 44 countries, with prize money reaching NT$10.1 million (US$337,000), setting new records. The market exhibition features 118 organizations across 112 booths, including national pavilions from France and South Korea.

 
The FORUM international symposium hosts over 25 experts for 12 sessions, featuring Janet Yang (楊燕子), the first Chinese American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president, as keynote speaker. TCCF continues until Thursday (Nov. 7), offering creative content activities for global industry participation. ◼
