TAIPEI (TVBS News) — President Tsai Ing-wen celebrated the recipients of the 25th National Golden Award for Architecture and the 20th National Brand Yushan Award, honoring outstanding contributions in Taiwan's architecture and business communities.

In her address, Tsai commended the enduring recognition these awards have received within their respective fields. She expressed her pleasure in meeting and exchanging ideas with seven consecutive groups of winners since taking office.

Tsai thanked the National Enterprise Competitiveness Development Association for their two-decade commitment to impartial evaluations, driving industry progress and enhancing Taiwan's overall competitiveness.

Emphasizing the global and national goal of a "net-zero transition," Tsai looked forward to collaborative efforts in construction to achieve energy conservation and reduced carbon emissions.

The president acknowledged public concerns about urban renewal and the reconstruction of old, unsafe buildings, affirming government plans to collaborate with the private sector to advance these causes, enhancing architectural safety and citizens' quality of life.

This year's 20th National Brand Yushan Award winners represent diverse industries including finance, biotech, manufacturing, and services.

In a milestone, CSBC Corporation was recognized, strengthening Taiwan's global competitiveness and supporting the Indigenous Defense Submarine policy.

Tsai encouraged awardees to continue offering valuable insights to the government and elevate the prominence of Taiwanese brands on the international stage.
