TAIPEI (TVBS News) — A Taipei puppy learning and care center marked the Christmas season with a charity event on Thursday (Dec. 21), aimed at providing cozy New Year's Eve dinners for stray animals.
The Family Dog center welcomed dog owners and their pets of all sizes to partake in festive activities, including a meal featuring dishes suitable for both humans and dogs.
This setup was in line with the increasing trend of pets joining family meals. The event also included gift exchanges, enhancing community spirit and goodwill.
One of the event's highlights was the "Promise Tree" initiative. Here, owners wrote promises to their pets and planted trees as a symbol of these commitments.
The initiative's proceeds will go to a charity that aids homeless animals, ensuring they are well-cared for during the festive season.
