TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Billboard Live TAIPEI will make its highly anticipated debut with Japanese superstar Mika Nakashima headlining opening performances Nov. 18-19 at the prestigious seventh-floor venue in ATT 4 FUN, Xinyi District (信義區), Taiwan's premier shopping and entertainment hub. Organizers announced Friday (Sept. 12) that Nakashima, celebrated for iconic hits including "Yuki no Hana" and "Sakurano Ame, Itsuka," will christen the new music venue. The acclaimed artist achieved international recognition in the 2000s and starred in the 2005 blockbuster film "NANA," which ignited an unprecedented Asian cultural phenomenon.
Billboard Live TAIPEI promises an innovative fusion of premium acoustics and fine dining experiences for discerning music lovers. Tickets for Nakashima's inaugural performances go on sale Sept. 30 at noon, with pricing starting at NT$4,800 (around US$159), offering fans access to this exclusive venue launch. Each performance day features two shows scheduled at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., maximizing audience capacity. Separately, Anna Tsuchiya (土屋安娜) returns to Taipei Oct. 6, performing with her new band BLVCKPHOENIX at the established Legacy Taipei venue.
Tsuchiya achieved breakthrough success in 2004 through her starring role in the cult film 'Kamikaze Girls' and subsequently contributed memorable songs including 'rose' and 'kuroi namida' to the popular 'NANA' anime series. Tickets for her 2025 Taipei tour have already been released to eager fans, with premium VIP packages priced at NT$3,800 (around US$126).
