TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently reassured residents that painkiller supplies are stable in the short term.
Director General Wu Show-mei was clear — no ration will be imposed on these medicines now, despite fears of shortages amid a rise in COVID cases across China.
Still, if the situation continues to worsen over their main medication source, measures may change accordingly.
The FDA reportedly met with local drug manufacturing and pharmacy associations last week to address increasing demands for fever-reducing medications.
