TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taipei 101 and the Taipei City Government building displayed messages of "Pray for Turkey" on Tuesday night in a show of support for the disaster victims.
In solidarity, some displays of the Taiwan Lantern Festival were also changed to the Turkish flag.
On the same night, a second search and rescue team was dispatched from Taiwan to provide aid, consisting of 90 personnel, seven medical staff, and two search dogs, bringing over eight tons of equipment.
The government has increased its donations to US＄2 million and has opened a donation account for the public to provide additional support.
