TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwanese rock band Mayday concluded their "I Really Want to See You" concert series with a grand finale in Paris on Thursday (Dec. 7), live-streamed globally.

The 8 p.m. concert aimed to quash lip-syncing rumors and garnered international praise for its authenticity. Post-performance, lead vocalist Ashin emotionally reflected on the band's journey. Guitarist Stone expressed gratitude to fans for overcoming traffic to attend.

Bassist Masa humorously tried greeting Parisian fans in French, leading to a light-hearted exchange about his pronunciation. His joke about his and guitarist Stone's French-speaking abilities drew laughter from the crowd.

Guitarist Monster appreciated the fans' enthusiasm despite the cold, and Guan You amusedly recounted not being recognized in Paris without his glasses, leading to an encounter with a restaurant owner unaware of his band membership.

The highlight of the night was Ashin's heartfelt performance of "The Yet Unbroken Part of My Heart," where he declared, "Every scream, every show, every sound comes from my throat that I've relied on for 24 years. There's no other way to move you except to sing true."

Mayday's dedication to live performances continued to captivate their international audience.
