TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Ashin (阿信) of Taiwanese band Mayday (五月天) will join former boy group F4 members for their Shanghai tour from Dec. 19 to 22. Ashin serves as chief planner and music producer for the "F✦ FOREVER Star City Tour" (F✦ FOREVER恆星之城巡迴演唱會), marking the first F4 collaboration in 16 years. The reunion brings together three original members for performances at the Mercedes-Benz Arena (梅賽德斯奔馳文化中心) in Shanghai, China.
Jerry Yan (言承旭), Vic Chou (周渝民), and Vanness Wu (吳建豪) will reunite on stage along with Ashin for the tour performances in Shanghai. Former F4 member Ken Chu (朱孝天) will not join them for any of the scheduled performances during the tour. The group excluded him from the tour's performance list due to multiple leaks of F4's unpublished plans to media outlets and fans.
B'in Music (相信音樂) confirmed Ashin's appearance at the inaugural Shanghai show, adding that the four performers will feature a new song together during the tour. Ashin has been building rapport with the artists during the production of their new music for the performances. The tour's first leg will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena (梅賽德斯奔馳文化中心) in Shanghai, China. ◼
