TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Yankey ARK Basketball Team (洋基工程籃球隊) announced on Monday (Dec. 8) the addition of Tsui Hung-lo (崔洪邏), a popular cheerleader from South Korea's Lotte Giants, to their squad. Tsui, known for her sweet appearance and resemblance to South Korean singer IU, joins Mok-Na Gyeong (睦那京) and Lee So-min (李素敏) to form the new "Yankees Three Pillars".

Tsui's surprising decision to join the team has sparked widespread discussion, especially after she denied the possibility of developing her career in Taiwan during the World Baseball Classic Qualifiers in February. She cited the Yankees' sincerity and a recommendation from teammate Mok-Na Gyeong as key factors in her decision.

The Yankees girls will begin training soon and are set to make their debut at Hsinchu Municipal Stadium (新竹市立體育館) from Dec. 27-28, delivering an exciting performance and live support. Due to strong ticket demand, the team has announced the addition of "Ark Seats" on both sides of the home court, allowing more fans to experience the charm of the Yankees girls up close.

The Yankees Engineering Basketball Team emphasized that their cheerleading squad's expansion is not yet complete. They aim to create a more vibrant home atmosphere through a diverse support culture and the appeal of international members.
