TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Nvidia (輝達) won the Best Choice of the Year award at Computex Taipei (台北國際電腦展) on Tuesday (June 2) for its Vera Rubin NVL72, a rack-scale AI supercomputer integrating 72 Rubin GPUs and 36 VERA CPUs. The product also won the Gold Award and the Sustainable Tech Special Award for its AI computing capabilities and energy-efficient design.
The Vera Rubin NVL72 integrates NVLink 6 Switch technology and is designed for trillion-parameter model training and inference, judges said. The system delivers high compute density with full liquid cooling, reducing token inference costs and improving efficiency. The Best Choice Awards recognize products that demonstrate innovation and market potential in the technology industry.
Delta Electronics (台達電子) won two Gold Awards for its AI Containerized Data Center and 800VDC 2.4MW Liquid-to-Liquid Coolant Distribution Unit, addressing power and cooling challenges in high-density computing. Nvidia's Jetson Thor for robotics and physical AI also won Gold. Phison's (群聯) 245TB PASCARI D206V enterprise SSD won a Gold Award for boosting hyperscale storage density.
MediaTek's (聯發科) single-chip Wi-Fi 8 tri-band solution and Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors won Gold. MSI's (微星) GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z also won Gold for its integrated thermal and power design. Gigabyte's (技嘉) AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX and Phison's aiDAPTIV AI PC Turbo-Inference Solution were recognized for advancing the evolution of PCs into AI computing platforms.
